Once an edition of prints is sold out, no other prints will be printed. To insure this, the original plates are destroyed. This causes the value of the prints to appreciate in value due to collector demands. The secondary price list depicts the appreciated value of the prints. Through the complete listing of all of John's prints, the issue date, issue price, current print price and value, and the artist proof print price and value are available. The list is updated once a year.
